CP Community Newsletter 4.16 Thursday, April 16A Message from the Community ManagerHey everyone, it's Kelly, and we are throwing it back to the 80's!We have so many things to be grateful for, even now, and the amazing building that houses our community is one of them. Initially constructed in 1984, Columbia Plaza went through an extensive transformation that was completed in 2018.For your viewing pleasure, I created a TBT blog post with some before and after pics so you can compare what was and see just how great we have it now. Check out the post for more photos of the incredible transformation.I am also very grateful for every one of you and your continued support. It is more important now than ever to be there for each other, so if you need anything, please do not hesitate to reach out. As always: love you, mean it.Click here to see the blog post. Happy HourPorch Pours Round 2Porch Pours is back by popular demand on Friday, April 24 at 5p!How to Party:First, RSVP to get your virtual party kit. Then, Friday, April 24 at 5p, simply grab your drink, head to your porch and press play on your playlist.Just like last time, this is not a virtual call-in. Instead, we want you to be present in the moment and come together by collectively enjoying the same cocktails, to the same playlist, at the same time - from different places. When you participate, post on social media using the hashtags #PorchPours #DistantSocializing #CPvirtualhub #BeAtCP #ColumbiaPlazaCincy and see everyone else that is joining the event!Click here to RSVP and check out the site. Cincinnati ZooTunes & BloomsOne of my favorite Cincinnati traditions in April is Tunes & Blooms at the zoo. It is the perfect combination of live music, gorgeous flowers and sunshine- usually.Although the event is not taking place this year, you can enjoy the stately gardens at the zoo via the video linked below. The zoo recorded an at home safari tour of the grounds and the flowers are as vibrant as ever!So go outside, mute the vid, get 4 of your favorite songs lined up and enjoy your at home Tunes & Blooms.Click here to see the blooms. EntertainmentWorth ItWhat's the first thing you're going to do when everything opens back up?I'm going to fly to L.A. and eat this truffle pasta. Do you see what is going on with this dish? The chef is cooking the pasta in a flaming, melted Parmesan cheese wheel. YUM. If you've been dying for a delicious meal in an amazing restaurant, this is the next best thing. The host and his friend go to 3 different restaurants at 3 different price points and determines which meal is "worth it."Although I have been enjoying pizza rolls topped with Sriracha sauce and sour cream, every episode has my refined pallet's mouth watering. Seasons 1-6 are streaming on Hulu. Bon appétit.Click here to watch the pasta episode.
