A Message from the Community Manager

Hey ya'll, Kelly here, checkin' in.

Phew, what a year this month has been, am I right???

Many of you may have seen this little fellow on my desk- this is my fish CC, short for CiCironé, and he is ready to be back in the hub- as am I.

What have you all been up to? If you have any tips or tricks to help the community through this next month, send them my way and I will feature your ideas in the newsletter!

Crime or Art?

Someone is turning NYC trash cans into giant vases filled with flowers- and I am here for it!

Lewis Miller, a florist in NYC, is gifting the residents of the city with magnificent floral arrangements, popping up all over the city.

“I hoped for smiles, the ones that happen when you witness a random act of kindness," says Miller, "That was my goal, my vision. Create an emotional response through flowers.”

This act of kindness brings a well-known quote to mind: “When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news,” Mr. Rogers said to his television neighbors, “my mother would say to me, ‘Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.’”

Mission accomplished, Lewis Miller, mission accomplished.

The Enneagram

I love this kind of stuff. Have you guys ever taken the Ennegram test?

The Enneagram is a system of personality typing that describes patterns in how people conceptualize the world and manage their emotions.

According to the Enneagram, every personality has a certain world view and looks at the world through their own lens or filter. This makes it possible to explain why people behave in certain ways.

By describing how the basic personality adapts and responds to both stressful and supportive situations, the Enneagram shows opportunities for personal development and provides a foundation for the understanding of others.

This is really applicable when you consider how you work with your co-workers in the office on a day to day basis and what you can do to increase productivity and harmony within the workplace.
