Reds Opening Day Extravaganza
Did Opening Day go down the way it traditionally has over the past 99 years? No. Did we have warm sunshine and good weather? Also, no. But did we let that rain on our parade? NO!
Columbia Plaza had a wildly successful Opening Day Extravaganza despite all the obstacles thrown our way. A local Cub Scout troop, Pack 618, kicked off the event with a flag ceremony and touching tribute to our country. Tenants enjoyed a build-your-own coney bar catered by the Silver Ladle and sporty drinks prepared by our favorite bartending team Cincy Bartiste. The event was complete with a balloon arch and a 7-foot-tall Reds player made of balloons!
Say what you want, but Columbia Plaza is hands down the coolest building in downtown Cincinnati. The DJ playing music out front had the entire block bumping and created a high-energy celebration of our home team! Although it was too cold to catch the parade from the plaza, the floor to ceiling windows provided ample viewing space from inside the warm and spacious lobby.
Columbia Plaza is located directly on the parade route and is a prime viewing destination for this long-standing Cincinnati tradition. We are thrilled to continue to bring you community centered events and create high quality tenant experiences for you here in the building. Here we go Redlegs!
