Juneteenth Festival

On Saturday, June 15 and Sunday, June 16, take time to experience the 37th Annual Cincinnati Juneteenth Festival. This free two-day event celebrates the emancipation of American slavery and begins with its traditional parade of flags representing the African diaspora — the dispersion of Africans from their original homeland during the slave trade. Once the parade ends, stay to enjoy fun, family-friendly activities such as horseback riding, education pavilions, historical reenactments and more. The Juneteenth Festival will also offer food, art displays, merchandise vendors and performances from two stages.
