A Message from the Community Manager
Hi guys, it's Kelly, and I am over this rain.
I know I might be coming across as a complainer, but come on, I thought April showers were suppose to bring May flowers... shouldn't we be enjoying the blooms right now?!
So I wanted to brighten up your day with a photo reminder of how gorgeous Columbia Grounds are when the sun is shining! If you've made it to the building recently, you know how phenomenal the flowers look out back.
Anyway, the video linked is how I feel about this Cincinnati weather....
Again, sorry for being a Debbie downer, but this rain is making me grumpy....love you, mean it.

The Lion King
This is incredible.
If you love Broadway musicals, you will appreciate this acoustic rendition of The Circle of Life.
The cast of The Lion King had an impromptu jam sesh that resulted in an amazing performance of the hit song off stage.
I am so jealous of everyone that was able to experience this magical moment and can't wait to go enjoy the arts in the future.

Educational Resource
The Mercantile Library
Have you ever been to the Mercantile Library?
In November, we hosted them at our CPPN (Columbia Plaza Professional Networking) and 3 lucky attendees received a complimentary membership.
It is a hidden gem just down the block that I liken to the library from Beauty and the Beast.
Although their physical location is currently closed, they are hosting virtual events and book discussions. They have also increased their e-book catalog and post a daily "Poem for Shut-ins."
For photos of the library and more information, click the link below.
*while you're going through the gallery pics, look out the window on #12 and you might see a building you recognize ;)

Bored Games Online
What to do when it's rainy... that is the question.
A tried and true solution is to get the fam together and play board games.
But what if your go-to's are getting a little stale?
Check out the link below for hundreds of virtual "bored" games online.
You'll find classics like Scrabble, Yahtzee and Risk peppered with other lesser known games to explore.

Animal Adoption
Whether you’re a dog person, a cat person, or both- pals with paws can be your best friend and relieve stress.
Some local rescues have gotten creative recently, and are still conducting adoptions with new precautions in place.
If you've been thinking that now is the perfect time for an addition, the link below has information on places in the area where you can find your new furry family member.
*another great spot not featured is The Animal House (that is where we got our pups!!!!!!)
