Michael's Debut- Party on the Plaza
The fourth party on the plaza celebrated the debut of Michael Dillingham’s art gallery as well as welcomed Gorman Heritage Farm to Columbia Plaza!
Tenants were able to hold or pet Jane the Hen and purchase fresh honey harvested from the bees that are housed in the farm’s expansive flower gardens. An inactive bee hive accompanied the honey and Evan from the farm demonstrated how the bees are smoked out to harvest the honey.
Michael Dillingham was also present for a meet and greet during the debut of his art display in the Stay and Wonder Gallery. Michael has cerebral palsy and has used a wheelchair since birth. He and his family are raising money to travel an ancient pilgrimage route, the El Camino de Santiago journey in Spain, inspired by the film “I’ll Push You.”
His art was for sale in the gallery and we came together as a Columbia Plaza community and helped raise over $2,000 towards the cause.
