Spring Coloring Contest Finalists

We are excited to display the finalists of the Spring 2019 coloring contest!

There were four spring themed designs: Kentucky Derby Horse, Cinco de Mayo, Memorial Day and May Day.

First place of the Kentucky Derby Horse design won due to the phenomenal use of color and shading by the artist. The first runner up created a Lisa Frank vibe complete with rhinestones and glitter.

Both top finalists of the Cinco de Mayo design were selected due to the additional images incorporated with the original picture. First place stood out because they really created a party within the image which I love. The first runner up showed great coloring technique.

First place of the Memorial Day design won due to the sky which just screams purple’s mountain majesty and I’m a sucker for a great sunset. The first runner up paid homage to our Star Wars fans, which I am.

First place of May Day design won due to irony- the crazy Kiss kids skipping around a May Day pole really spoke to me. The first runner up completed the picture in classic Dick and Jane style.

All first place submissions received a $25 gift card and the 5 runner ups received a $10 gift card.

Stay tuned for the next Columbia Plaza coloring contest!
