February Coloring Contest Finalists!

We are happy to display the finalists of the first coloring contest in 2019!

There were four designs: anti- Valentine’s Day (Nightmare Before Christmas), Valentine’s, super bowl, and ground hog’s day.

First place of the anti-Valentine’s day design won due to the phenomenal use of color, shading and additional detail created by the artist. The anti-Valentine’s day runner up used a consistent color theme throughout the entire page. Honorable mention of the anti-Valentine’s day design did a great job making the art pop by using lots of bright and bold colors.

First place of the Valentine’s Day design won due to the Finding Nemo themed work. The Valentine’s Day runner up had excellent color usage and shading. Honorable mention of the Valentine’s Day design added mermaid and sunken ship details in the background.

First place of the Superbowl design won due to knowing their judge- I am obsessed with the Fyre situation and lets be real: the documentaries were a more intense face off than the actual Superbowl. The Superbowl runner up paid homage to the NFL and created their logo. Honorable mention of the Superbowl design filled the entire page with an American flag, and there are few things more American than the Superbowl.

First place of the groundhog day design won due to the detailed background. The groundhog day runner up paid tribute to my favorite era- the 90’s. Honorable mention of the groundhog day design rockstar themed their art.

All first place submissions receive a $50 gift card and the runner ups receive a $25 gift card.

Stay tuned for the next Columbia Plaza coloring contest!
